Please note: ChaosSync for Blackberry has been discontinued for a number of years. The version available here was designed for BlackBerry devices which used the BlackBerry Handheld Applications version 4.02 ONLY on the device and this tool will not work with newer devices with newer versions of the Handheld software. It is only still listed on this site as a service to users who purchased this in the past and are still using a device with software from the era this was made for.

If you have a newer device than this software requires (which is highly likely!), we can recommend either our ChaosSync for Outlook program or CompanionLink. The BlackBerry device comes with software out of the box to sync with Outlook. Using our ChaosSync for Outlook allows you to leverage this capability to sync Time & Chaos with your BlackBerry using Outlook's databases as a pass-through to your device. CompanionLink costs more (and is sold and supported by CompanionLink themselves), but it can sync direct to the BlackBerry without requiring Outlook in between.

Requirements

1. BlackBerry Desktop Software v4.0.1.xx or newer

To check your desktop software, go to BlackBerry Desktop, then to the Help menu, then finally to About Desktop Manager. You should have version 4.0.1.10 or newer. If you don't have it, you can download this from BlackBerry's web site.

2. BlackBerry Handheld Software v4.0.2.xx [only!!!]

To check your handheld software, look on your BlackBerry's top screen for Settings, then Options, and look for Applications. To synchronize with T&C, you must have version 4.0.2.xx [only!!!]. If you have an older version, you will need to download an update provided by your phone carrier. If you have a newer version of the handheld software, this sync program will NOT work right for you.

The 4.0.2.xx version of the Handheld Software should become available for all models of BlackBerry except for model 5XXX series and 8-megabyte models. If your phone provider does not yet offer version 4.0.2.xx of the Handheld software, contact them and let them know you need them to release it!

Fixes problem with Appointments and Daylight Saving Time where appointments on your BlackBerry and in Time & Chaos could be off by an hour on the time conversions.
Prevents records from being deleted in Time & Chaos when synchronizing with a read-only database on your BlackBerry. (Read-only databases on the BB are caused by having the Wireless Sync option enabled, which prevents the Desktop from making changes)
